Rengîn is an Austria based Blog written and run by Dilan Tas. This blog has a focus on Literature, Film and Contemporary Art Scene of people with kurdish background. Rengîn’s mission is to promote Kurdish artists. The goal is to build a plattform where young aspiring writers,directors, painters,artists can read dialogues of young and old atists with a kurdish background. I want to build a bridge between the older generation and the new generation of younger kurds. Kurdish is meanwhile on the list of Unesco`s extinct language. Rengîn` focus will be on literature from the end of 2019. I want to support especially artists whom being a kurd isn’t always the subject of their art and share their unique story with art to the world.
Art has no nationality. Rengîn is deliberately apolitical, highlights art, artistic creations, beauty and pays tribute to the creativity and talent of artists- It is all part of a philanthropic imitative advocating the values of interartistic and intercultural dialogues.
Rengîn also supports international artists who are not kurdish but deal with ideas and art of kurdish literature scene. Rengîn’s aim is to show these artistic exchanges and dialogues between cultures and show it as a kurdish art history.
